Course Description

  • Training shall consist of a combination of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, interactive, video, written material),
  • Each candidate will undergo a theory assessment to demonstrate their understanding the Scaffold Safety for successful completion of the course.
  • Completed multiple-choice questions and Scaffold inspection checklist, that would be assessed to verify their understanding.

Course Objective

By the end of this course participants should be able to Identify Hazards associated with scaffolds, including:

  • Electrical hazards and the correct procedure for dealing with electrical hazards
  • Fall hazards
  • Falling object hazards
  • Understand Scaffold tagging system
  • Know basic scaffold requirements
  • Comply with necessary fall protection requirements while working on scaffolds
  • Adhere to proper use and handling of materials on scaffolds
  • Comply with scaffold tagging system
